The Algarve
The Algarve is the most famous tourist destination in Portugal with approximately 300 days of Sunshine per year. This piece of paradise offers some of the best weather conditions in Europe, providing perfect conditions for year round activities.
The blossoming almond trees in January welcome a long mild spring, followed by a sunny beach summer and an orange and pomegranate coloured autumn. A real year-round destination!
Positioned in the most Southerly point of Europe, the climate in Algarve is influenced by Europe as well as North Africa, the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. The lowest and highest temperatures are located between the 15 and the 31 degrees Celsius.

There is much more to the Algarve than sun-drenched beaches: visitors are rewarded world-class golf courses, chic hotels and historic towns, richly influenced by Greeks, Phoenicians, Romans, Moors and Visigoths, having been the heart of intrepid expeditions resulting in an epic battles.
