The company Broad Group has built a 30-story hotel and 17 000 square meters in 360 hours. The secret is the 24 hour working day and the use of materials and prefabricated modules. The hotel was built in Hunan province, China, last December. According to the Chinese Academy of Building Research, which tested the safety of the hotel, the Hotel Ark has been tested to withstand earthquakes of magnitude 9 on the Richter scale, thanks to the diagonal, low weight and steel construction. In early 2011 the same company constructed a building of 15 floors in less than a week and at Expo 2010 in Shanghai, the Broad pavilion was built in just 24 hours.
