Nature Walks in the Algarve

Embark on a journey of serenity and discovery amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Algarve!  Whether you're tracing rugged cliffs overlooking the blue sea or wandering through verdant forests alive with the sounds of nature, every step is an adventure waiting to unfold. Let us introduce you to some of our favourite walking routes:

 

Rota Vicentina

Along the west coast, you can set off to discover Rota Vicentina. You will be accompanied by the ocean between jagged cliffs, and, at times you will be presented with seemingly endless fields of wild flowers. There cannot be a better suggestion for a walk.

 

Ria Formosa

The Ria Formosa is a lagoon that hugs the southern coast of Portugal over a length of 60 km from Faro all the way to Vila Real Santo António. It is a natural park with white sandy beaches and serves as a protected habitat for wildlife.

 

7 Hanging Valleys

This 6-kilometer route is known for its breathtaking scenery. It offers spectacular views of the rugged coast, limestone cliffs, picturesque beaches and natural caves. It can be walked as a return trail then the total distance will be 12 km.
